Chaplaincy at Peninsula

Jay Robinson

Our Chaplain on the Peninsula Campus is Jay Robinson.  Jay is on campus Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 11am and 3pm and is located in the A Building on the first level in Room A1.10.

Jay is available to both staff and students from any tradition and aims to provide pastoral resources and personal conversations. This might mean offering suggestions for a local worship community or a spiritual home, but it can also mean a cool glass of water or a hot cuppa during a difficult day, simply sitting alongside or standing nearby to encourage people through the trying moments when life closes an old doorway or opens a new challenge.

You can contact Jay on 9904 4682 whilst on campus or on her mobile 0410 465 836.

Jay also has a website where you can find out more about what is happening weekly on campus as well as what may be of interest in the community. Check out theSkinny.org.au for events, articles and opportunities to get involved.

Quiet Room

Also on the first level of Building A is our Quiet Room Ð located in Room A1.19.

The Quiet Room is unlike any other place within the University. It is a space that holds room for the faith traditions that are reflected in our students and staff. It offers a place of wholeness and serenity, a place for reflection and individual meditation, a place that respects the search for the ineffable and transcendent, and celebrates the oneness and unity of life.

The Quiet Room is open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.  It is a room for all to use and we ask that you respect and help care for this space by keeping it clean and tidy.

Any questions about the Quiet Room, please contact Jay Robinson.

Events that are scheduled in the Quiet Room and open to all to attend:
