International Student Friendship Program

Student and her community volunteer having coffee

The program is designed to help you (the international student) make friends with Australian community members and their families.

If you are an international student, this program can help you:

  • make friends
  • understand Australian culture
  • practice your English
  • see parts of Melbourne and Victoria that you didn’t know about

After joining, you and your volunteer may (for example):

  • meet for coffee
  • share meals together
  • go to the movies
  • go bushwalking
  • play a game of sport
  • take part in a community activity

To join, fill in the student registration form or email a Hubs Student Advisor   for further details.
