University Health Service

The University Health Services operate as general practices aiming to provide a broad range of general health and medical services for the Students and Staff of the university community with an emphasis on illness prevention and health education.

The services cover areas such as sexual health, family planning, travel health, women's health, sports medicine and psychological assistance in conjunction with other services such as Counselling.

Fees

Australian Resident Students and International Students with Overseas health cover are bulk billed and in these situations no fee is raised to the individual attending.

Members of the University Staff receive a discount service.

Fees may be charged directly to the individual for some routine medical examinations (eg: Diving Medical).

The UHS also has a set of private fees. Payment is made at the time of consultation.

All new patients are required to complete a registration form  which can be downloaded and completed prior to your consultation.
