Textbooks

Some of the units you will study as a part of your course will require you to purchase textbooks. Details of the required texts for individual units can be found in the University Handbook or you may wish to contact your Faculty/School directly. The purchase of Books of Readings are also required for various units of study, please contact your Faculty/School for details.

Equipment

Some courses require students to purchase equipment related to their study. This might be equipment like laboratory coats, musical instruments, technical drawing implements etc. To check if you will be required to purchase equipment as a part of your course please contact your Faculty/School directly.

Field Trips, Excursions and Placements

If you are undertaking study in a practical field chances are you will have to undertake field trips, excursions and possibly placements as a part of the course. You should check with your Faculty/School directly regarding the participation in these activities and ask them to provide you with the expected cost.

Each campus/branch library has different photocopy and printing facilities.
