Occupational Health and Safety Manager

Mr. David Patterson is the Manager of Occupational Health and Safety at Clayton campus. David's aim is to ensure the effective management of occupational health and safety issues across all campuses of the University. To achieve this aim, David is responsible for:

promoting and developing strategies and programs to minimise risks of injury and damage;
ensuring that Monash University meets, so far as practicable, health, safety and environment statutory requirements;
providing occupational health and safety consultancy services to the members of the University community.

HS&E Consultancy Team

Occupational Health and Safety have structured its operations to provide direct contact points for staff and students via the "Occupational Health and Safety Consultant Team". The consultant team provide support and advice on all occupational health and safety queries or issues.

Provide specialist occupational health and safety support as required
Develop tools and resources that support the activities of the Occupational Health and Safety Consultant Team
