OHSE Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Regulations
Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Regulations 1995 have been in existence in Victoria for many years. They are managed by the Department of Human Services. These regulations require many additional controls to other regulations for the safe management of chemicals e.g. dangerous goods and hazardous substances.

What Does The University Need To Do?
These regulations contain specific lists of substances which are divided into a series of schedules. Each schedule has different management requirements such as security requirements, licensing requirements etc.
