Monash 10,000 Steps Challenge - Wellbeing Initiatives

Firstly, a great effort from all those teams who participated in the 10000 Steps Challenge and who passed the finish line (3.8 million steps).

The winning team with a staggering step count of 8, 094, 391 steps was the Caulfield Campus 'Fiery Footnotes' led by team captain Peter Lausch. The highest individual stepper was Amy Noble of the 'Clayton Steppers' team with a staggering 1,278,660 steps, the highest number of steps by a campus, went to Caulfield with 63, 309,154, with the best campus participation going to Bendigo campus.

The teams with the highest number of steps at each campus were:

  • Alfred: Epistars 2,707,514
  • Bendigo: Bendigo Twinkle Toes, 4, 610, 161
  • Berwick: Berwick Boomers, 3, 817, 078
  • Caulfield: Fiery Footnotes, 8, 094, 391
  • Clayton: Quantum Leapers, 4, 973, 869
  • Gippsland: Walking Feat, 4, 968, 895
  • Parkville: These Boots Are Made For Walking, 4, 120, 804
  • Peninsula: Peninsula Admin, 4, 097, 294
