Monash Gippsland South Gippsland Shire/ Bass Coast Shire Bursary

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
a commencing student intending to enrol full-time in an approved on-campus undergraduate degree* at the Monash Gippsland campus, and
a resident of, and have attended a school within, South Gippsland Shire or Bass Coast Shire, and
from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

* Graduate entry Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery students are not eligible.

Awarded to eligible students on the basis of need. Further consideration will be given to students based on ATAR score or equivalent.

$3000 per annum for one year only. Two bursaries are available.

Recipients must maintain a full-time on-campus enrolment and a minimum of a pass weighted average mark (50 per cent).

This bursary cannot be deferred.
