Harold Carroll Memorial ScholarshipThe Late Harold White Carroll, a retired grazier from Devonport, on his death in 2000 established a fund to provide scholarships for deserving students in the State of Victoria, to allow them to enter or continue university studies. On behalf of the Trustees of the Estate of the Late Harold Carroll these scholarships have been made available to eligible students for study at Monash University. EligibilityTo be eligible, you must be:
Selection criteriaAttendance at one of the following schools (in order of preference): (a.) Former pupils of:
(b.) Former pupils of:
(c.) Former pupils of primary or secondary schools in the Western District of Victoria (approximately west and south west of the Calder Highway and all towns and cities on that highway). Monash University reserves the right to determine the localities contained within this boundary. Preference will be given to former pupils of those schools named and to students who can demonstrate involvement in community or social activities. * At various times, these consolidated schools have also been known as state or primary schools. Value and number available$4000 per annum for the duration of the degree up to a maximum of four years. Students who complete their degree within three years may be eligible to hold the scholarship for an additional year to undertake an honours degree. One scholarship is available. DeferabilityThis scholarship cannot be deferred. |
