Faculty of IT Indigenous Non-Award Pathway Bursary

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Indigenous Australian, and
• enrolled in a minimum of two single non-award units, or one unit if the pathway is undertaken over two semesters, in the Faculty of Information Technology, and
• intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Information Technology at the successful completion of the two single non-award units, and
• from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.

Selection criteria

Awarded to eligible students on the basis of need.

Value and number available

$2500 for one semester’s enrolment of two single non-award IT units, or pro-rata over two semesters (one unit per semester). The number available is variable, depending on funding.

Retention

Students undertaking the pathway units over two semesters must maintain a minimum of a pass weighted average mark (50 per cent) in the first unit.

Deferability

This bursary cannot be deferred.
