Monash University International Scholarships for Excellence

Eligibility:

To be eligible, you must be:

  • an International applicant (includes holder of New Zealand permanent resident visas)
  • studying the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) in Victoria in 2005, and
  • intending to enrol in an undergraduate program on a Monash campus in Australia.
Selection criteria: Awarded to highest achieving VCE international students based on their ENTER.
Value: Variable: $6000, $3000 or $1500 per annum, depending on funding.

The faculty reserves the right to vary the value of the scholarship offered to individual students.

Duration: Payable for the normal period of time specified by the university for full time completion of the degree, or until the degree is completed, whichever is soonest, up to a maximum of 5 years.
Number per year: Variable, depending on funding.
Offers: In mid-late December 2005. A second round of offers may be made after January 2006 if there are any scholarships still available.
Retention: Maintain a minimum of distinction average (70%+).

Other Details

These scholarships will be offered by each faculty for enrolment in specific courses.

In any one year, not all faculties may make offers of these scholarships, or may restrict them to certain courses.

International VCE applicants for this award may compete with all other international applicants to a Monash Australia campus for these scholarships.
