MNHS International Honours Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an international student, and
• enrolled or intending to enrol in a full-time honours bachelor degree program* within a school or department in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia, or
• enrolled or intending to enrol full-time in the Master of Biomedical Science (Part 1) at a Monash campus in Australia.

* Students enrolled in an embedded honours program such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) should be in their final year of the degree in 2012.

Selection criteria

Awarded to the highest achieving eligible students who achieve a minimum weighted average mark of 75 per cent. Students must also demonstrate their research potential in their scholarship application as measured by previous research involvement including, vacation scholarships, research based units, work experience etc.

Value and number available

$10,000 per 48 credit points of study up to a maximum of one year only, paid directly towards tuition fees. The number available is variable depending on funding.

Retention

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment.

Deferability

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
