Victorian Ambulance Paramedic Scholarships

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, and
• a continuing undergraduate student, and
• have satisfactorily completed first-year studies in, and currently enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Emergency Health (Paramedic) at a Monash campus in Australia, and
• able to demonstrate financial disadvantage.

Selection criteria

Awarded to eligible students on the basis of need. The selection panel may include consideration of academic results in determining the final ranking order, and may also interview students if further information is required.

Value

$7500 per annum, for the remainder of the degree up to a maximum of two years.

Retention

Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment and a minimum of a pass weighted average mark (50 per cent).
