Project Advisory Group

Workgroups will be established for each of the business cases within the Shared Services project and  will report to the overall Shared Services Steering Committee, and will advise the Committee on the costs and benefits of this project.

Members of this Committee include staff from ITS, Faculties and staff involved in the Shared Services Project. 

The following three workgroups were created in August, 2008 to critique the business cases and provide feedback on these initiatives.

Terms of Reference

  • Provide advice to the Shared Services Steering Committee:
  • Review and make comment on the Implementation plan for this project from the KPMG report, particularly the resources requirements and timetable. 
  • Review and make comment on cost estimates in light of implementation plan and resource requirements.
  • Review and make comment on the proposed benefits from this project.
  • Develop Terms of Reference for the Project Steering Committee, to operate during the course of the project;
  • Propose a final Project Plan and reporting procedures for the project;
  • Develop and agree a Project Charter, for final sign-off by the Shared Services Steering Committee;
  • Provide advice on the definition of requirements for shared system tools.
