Search Plans for Women - Women's Leadership and Advancement Scheme
Increasing the number of women on your team, or finding more women to apply for positions at the University may require the use of targeted search plans. Search plans involve going beyond the normal tools used in the early stages of recruitment and selection (e.g. advertising in "The Age") and using less formal networking contacts to alert potential applicants to vacant positions. Using a search plan does not imply that anyone encouraged to apply will be treated other than on merit in the selection process. A search plan is a way of broadening the field of well-qualified applicants.
