Senior Women's Forum - Women's Leadership and Advancement Scheme

Forum Aims

The Senior Women's Forum (SWF) was established in 1998 to support women in senior and leadership roles at Monash University. The aims of the forum are:

  • To provide opportunities for senior academic and general female staff to meet and build professional relationships with each other;
  • To enable access to the views and strategies of a wide range of women in leadership roles in the broader community, who are invited as guest speakers to SWF functions;
  • To increase support for senior women at Monash in their leadership roles through the provision of skills-based workshops.

Eligibility

All female staff at Academic Level D and above (Reader/Associate Professor) and HEW Level 10 and above are automatic members of the SWF.

As many of the SWF functions may be of relevance to women currently not at senior levels but engaged in managerial and supervisory activities, SWF members are encouraged to invite interested colleagues along to specific events.

Activities

Activities are advertised through email to all female staff at Level D and above, and HEW Level 10 and above.
