Units with a 2013 census date between 1 July and 31 December may be amended before 1 April 2013. The Handbook will reflect these amendments.
Changes to published unit of study information
Once a higher education provider has published unit of study information, it can vary the information only in accordance with the requirements in:
Variations to unit of study information can be made without Ministerial approval for unforeseen circumstances or to correct an administrative error, unless students will be disadvantaged by the variation and it is within 2 months of the earlier of the commencement of the unit or the last date for withdrawing without penalty, in which case Ministerial approval is required.
Disadvantage will include being subject to a higher student contribution amount or tuition fee, lower EFTSL value or earlier census date.
Student Administration is responsible for the submission and notification of any variations and faculties needing to vary unit of study information after the university's submission should contact publications@monash.edu.
Publiation of details relating to the schedule of student services and amenities fees that are payable in the first half year of 2013 (1 January to 30 June).
