Sick leave in advance

Where a period of illness exceeds the staff member's sick leave entitlement, the University may approve sick leave entitlement in advance, provided the period will normally be accrued within the period of appointment. Approval of paid leave more than 15 days in advance of credit will be subject to approval by the Divisional Director (Human Resources Division) through the Dean or equivalent.
