Expected Standards of Service

Overview

It is expected that the endorsed supplier panel of Specialist ICT Recruitment Services adheres to Monash University standards when engaged to provide the following key services:

  • Provision of IT temporary contracting services; 
  • Provision of continuing and fixed term employment placement services; and 
  • Other consultation services as required. 

The University shall engage one, a number of, or all of the selected endorsed supplier agencies on an ‘as need basis only’ for all levels of ICT staff including executive management. 

The University does not guarantee exclusivity to any of the selected endorsed suppliers.  

It is at the discretion of the hiring manager to commission one, a number of, or all of the endorsed supplier agencies to fill a vacancy.  The degree of support and type of service that may be required from a endorsed supplier will also be decided by the hiring manager.

No guarantee can or will be provided in relation to the number of vacancies that would be offered to any of the selected endorsed supplier agencies, in any given year.

Endorsed supplier agencies must keep confidential any information concerning Monash University that it receives as a result of, or in connection with, its provision of services to the University. 

The performance of the endorsed supplier agencies will be assessed under performance criteria that are incorporated in the contractual agreement.  

Key Expected Standards of Service

  • Professional, timely and consistent service and in accordance with the agreed ‘Placement Timeframe’ outlined in the contractual agreement (refer to Table 1). 
  • Commitment to understand and meet the hiring manager’s requirements and needs for the specific assignment. 
  • Sound understanding of Monash University and our IT recruitment needs. 
  • Contribution of value-added recommendations, as appropriate. 
  • Conduct services in compliance with the University’s equal opportunity, and recruitment and selection policies and procedures.
  • Conduct service with a high level of integrity and honesty, in good faith and providing an accurate account of transactions with the University. 
  • Ensure that the University is promptly notified when the allocated recruitment consultant and/or contract manager changes and of any other changes that may impact the service to the University

* Where multiple candidates are requested by the University for multiple vacancies the timeframe may be extended, subject to the parties agreement in writing for that particular placement.
